A New Year’s bash replete with endless food and slurpy, non-alcoholic sangrias, Sawagat witnessed a dance floor with tireless, shimmying bodies and a cacophony of laughter and good conversations. Amidst the beat of the dhol and the twinkling lights of the trees, the beautiful throng of people left with some happy memories to start off their year.
Reminiscent of a bewitching Sufi atmosphere or, perhaps, a desert safari in Dubai, Little Monk’s Tanoura event brought the mystical appeal of Middle Eastern culture to Indore. Dancers swirled around in traditional Sufi costumes of the native dance form of Egypt while a rich supply of succulent vegetarian kebabs and rolls was in full form.
